Located on a tributary of the Frio River

Accommodations include eight two-bedroom / two-bath cabins (sleep six), one one-bedroom cabin (sleeps 2), one four-bedroom/three-bath lodge (sleeps 12) and one two-bedroom/two-bath/sleeping-loft lodge (sleeps 16) for larger gatherings. Each cabin or lodge includes central air-conditioning/heat, satellite TV with DVD player, broadband wireless internet access, a BBQ / firepit, fire ring, and well-equipped kitchen facilities. Most lodges include wood-burning fireplaces and a large deck or patio area and many include private spas and laundry facilities. Bathroom linens and bedding are provided. All cabins are connected to the municipal water supply.

Frio Springs Lodges is known for the beautiful rock waterfall and small soaking pool on the side of the bluff overlooking the springs. Other amenities include a private swimming hole in crystal-clear spring waters that flow into the Frio River, picnic and playground facilities. Popular activities include tubing, swimming, birdwatching and feeding the fish. Downtown Leakey offers a number of restaurants and stores within walking distance of Frio Springs, and recent changes to the law make it possible to purchase wine and beer nearby.
